L'Alpe de Villar d'Arêne
Please note. As the usual car park is under construction, you must park at the Pont des Brebis car park (+ 3 km round trip).

From the Gravière car park, follow the bottom of the valley on the right bank by a path which crosses the Pas d'Anna Falque, then continues on a steep section.
The fork that divides the path between the Alpe and Adèle Planchard refuges is well signposted. Take the path that goes up to the left, cross the crevasses path near the weather station.
Shortly after, leave the GR 54 and turn right and continue straight on to the Alpe de Villar-d'Arêne refuge. Go around the refuge on the right and go down to a crossroads overlooking the Romanche.
Turn right to go back down to the Plan de l'Alpe and pass several streams in succession until you reach the path you took on the way there. Take the path slightly to the left which crosses the Pas d'Anna Falque to return to the car park.
