Le Boulangeard
This route, which is a "special enduro" route, starts in the mountain pastures and finishes at Allemond at Lac du Verney (1 m D-). Generally not very challenging, this course can be very fast for experienced pilots and a good exercise for those who are less so.

ROUTE
> From Alpe d'Huez, at the "roundabout of the slopes", go up towards the Col de Poutran via the Route des Lacs. At the Poutran fountain, take the track on the left and follow the markings [EN 3].
> Once at the top of the Sûre crest (1 m), you find yourself at the top of the route. The path goes down to the right, crosses the mountain pastures then passes under the avalanche shields and then winds along the edge of the forest. This portion can be very quick for those with good technique and a good exercise for those with less.
> Further down, the path becomes calmer and we arrive at the Sardonne/Oz intersection. Continue straight towards Oz on a small side path which then turns into a track. Continue for a short km until you reach a bend going off to the right. In this bend, follow the path on the left towards “Pré Reynaud”. We find a fairly technical and fast portion taken by the Megavalache.
> After this intense passage, we come back to a track, go down it and pass the hairpin. After 10 m, Chemin du Boulangeard begins on the right. We follow the markings [EN 4] and arrive directly at the heart of the matter with hairpins and steep bends which we follow at a steady pace until the road leading to the hamlet of Boulangeard.
> Once on the road, turn right for 100 m then go down the first path on the left. After a few hairpin bends and a wooden staircase, you reach the road toAllemond and Lake Verney. Continue straight ahead to reach Bourg-d'Oisans via Raffour then the track along La Romanche.
Or, to go back up to Alpe d'Huez in July and August, cross the dam to get to Allemond and take the cable car “Eau d’Olle Express” to Oz station then Alpe d'Huez (note: a ski pass is required).
