Since Mizoën, the climb is made by pastoral tracks, with on arrival a view of the majestic Meije, you will cross a large part of the plateau and descend through the charming village of Besse before returning to Mizoën by the road.
Please note: this site is Natura 2000 certified and is subject to numerous measures to preserve its biodiversity. In this sense, we invite you to adopt good reflexes when you come in order to protect this sensitive space.

ROUTE
Take the track that starts above the village, towards Singuigneret, continue to climb on the 4×4 track, pass in front of the Chatons refuge. Stay on the wide track which will then take you to the Fay refuge as well as the Mouterres refuge. The track then continues to the Nazié pass where you pick up the pastoral track of Besse. Go down to Besse and go back to Mizoën by the road.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
On your route, three terminals are accessible for free and self-service: at Mizoën (Bar-restaurant-Grocery store Chez les filles) and at Besse (Ferrand Tourist Office). Another terminal is located in Clavans-le-bas.
