Le refuge Adèle Planchard depuis Arsine (Villar d'Arène)

Villar-d'Arêne
Long and difficult route. A climb to the refuge which passes through the green meadows of the Plan de l'Alpe, and the mineral draperies of the high peaks which mountain hut the sources of the Romanche.
From the Arsine car park, follow the track passing along the edge of the reservoir and then continue along the bottom of the valley on the right bank by an excellent path which crosses the Pas d'Anna Falque.

The fork that divides the route between the Plan de l'Alpe refuges (Refuge de l'Alpe and the Chamoissière refuge chalet) and Adèle Planchard is well signposted.

Turn right and follow this long path crossing the Plan de l'Alpe. A long flat section on the right bank at the bottom of the valley followed by a short steep slope on the left bank leads to a grassy plateau.

A short kilometer of crossing prepares the tortuous ascent through the rocky bars equipped with cables in places.
Fill up with water, there is none higher up.

At the foot of the final drop: an immense scree slope that you should climb without getting lost.

Finally, the Adèle Planchard refuge appears on a ridge protected from avalanches overlooking this mineral space.

Return by this same route.
