Le refuge du Pic du Mas de La Grave
Discover a magnificent landscape thanks to the mountain pastures of the Buffe valley. Dominated by the Pic du Mas de la Grave and overlooking the Gâ torrent, this valley is popular with transhumant breeders during the summer period.
The departure is from the parking lot at the foot of the village of Chazelet.
At the first junction, take a hairpin turn to the right towards the foot of the ski lifts. (Do not go up into the village).
At the 2nd junction, stay on the side without going down to the Gâ torrent. Continue on the wide track.
At the 3rd junction, turn right towards the hamlets of Rivets to reach Coix de Tuf (1901m). At the cross, continue straight on the track to the Pic du Mas de refuge La Grave.
