Le tour par le plateau Matheysin
This long loop is very popular with cyclists in the region. We leave Oisans via the Col d'Ornon to enter the Valbonnais and then the Matheysin plateau. The climb to La Morte is via a pretty, little-used road.

ROUTE
From Bourg d'Oisans, take the D1091 towards Grenoble.
At the second kilometer turn left towards “Valbonnais – la Mure – Ornon” by the D526. From the pass, descend towards Valbonnais.
From Valbonnais, turn right towards La Mure on the D26.
In Sievoz, follow the D114a on the right towards La Morte (Alpe du Grand Serre ski resort).
Join Séchilienne (be careful on the descent), then turn right on the D1091 to return to Bourg d'Oisans.
VARIATION By Laffrey
From Siévoz, join La Mure via the D26.
After La Mure, take the D115c and cross St Honoré, Fugières, Villard Saint Christophe, then Cholonge before going down to Laffrey.
Leaving Laffrey, turn right on the D113 towards Saint Barthélémy de Séchilienne. Join Séchilienne (be careful on the descent), then turn right on the D1091 to return to Bourg d'Oisans.
