Les balcons d'Auris
Spectacular route via the dizzying "route de la Roche", cut into the cliff face above the Bourg-d'Oisans plain. The stretch of road to La Garde is challenging but you then manage to find a good rhythm until Auris.

ROUTE
From Bourg d'Oisans, head towards L'Alpe d'Huez. Enjoy a short kilometer of flat ground before tackling the famous climb.
From La Garde en Oisans (turn 16), turn right towards Auris en Oisans via the D211a.
After Armentier le Haut you take the spectacular “route de la Roche”.
At the end of this road, turn left towards “Les Certs / Les Cours” continuing on the D211a, then the D211e until the stationAuris-en-Oisans.
To return, go down to Freney d'Oisans, then join the D1091, turn right to return towards Bourg d'Oisans.
This route goes through 7 tunnels, some of which are not lit. For your safety, make sure you are visible.
THE LITTLE MORE: Maronne
From Armentier le Haut, drive to Maronne to discover the Rosay chapel.
The view of the Sarenne gorges is spectacular.
