Les Gorges de Sarenne – randonnée au départ de la Garde-en-Oisans
With this route, you will travel part of the legendary GR 54 which crosses Oisans and Écrins. The introduction to this route will allow you to discover the charming village of La Garde-en-Oisans.

ROUTE
The crossing of La Garde-en-Oisans is all uphill through the beautiful Maronne forest. It's a climb, welcome to Oisans! After the hamlet of Rosay, a true haven of peace, you will be rewarded with a short crossing through a meadow before descending by a steep and bucolic path, to the Sarenne gorges. The rest takes place along the fishermen's path... Bucolic we tell you!

- Rosai chapel: The side window is decorated with a stained glass window with three doves, made by Arcabas, a French painter and sculptor recognized in France and abroad, among other things, for his significant production in the field of contemporary sacred art.

-The inhabitants of La Garde are called gardillons and are in one of the most vertical communes in France.
– The town is served by the T75 bus line linking Le Bourg-d'Oisans to Alpe d'Huez

– A little before arriving at the Gua bridge, you have the start of the Pierre Ronde via ferrata on the right. At the top you arrive on the Sarenne road, not far from the Brandes archaeological site.
