Meije Orientale (3891 m)
The rise of the Meije Orientale is the most common route to this iconic summit of the Écrins. Upon arrival, the view of its very aesthetic ridges and the famous Doigt de Dieu is striking.
From Villar-d'Arène, the climb to the Aigle refuge and its rock is via steep bends. We climb by successively crossing the Bec glacier, the Bec de l'Homme and the Tabuchet glacier.
The second stage allows you to climb the Meije Orientale and access its privileged panorama before going back down to Villar-d'Arène by the same path as that taken on the way there.
