Montée à Villard Reculas par la vieille morte
Hike mainly in the forest with a viewpoint on arrival at the Villard Reculas resort.

Itinerary:
You can leave your vehicle after crossing the bridge over the Romanche, near the hamlets of Bassey and Essoulieux de Bourg-d'Oisans.
The path is initially completely flat and runs along the Romanche. The climb begins at the level of the marsh of the Vieille Morte, towards the ruins of the old village.
The entire elevation gain is then in the forest in the shade of the broadleaf trees. The viewpoint over the valley and its mouths is offered to you at Villard Reculas. Go back up above the war memorial to visit the village and its old bell tower!
