Petite boucle de Clos Raffin
This short family hike will allow you to discover the first mountain pastures as well as the charming hamlet of Clos Raffin, which has now been completely renovated.
From the starting point of Chazelet (1770 m), at the car park at the foot of the village, go down towards the village along the car park. At the first junction, do not go up into the village but take a hairpin on the right towards the foot of the ski lifts.
At the second junction, stay on the side (do not go down towards the torrent).
Continue along the wide track and at the next junction, turn left, cross the torrent at the “mine bridge” (old silver-lead mine).
Go back up wide bends before arriving at the Querellé hill (Cadelet in patois).
Turn sharply to the left, pass in front of the Querellé mountain pasture house and reach the hamlet of Clos Raffin (1830m) on the hillside: Magnificent view of the three hamlets of Rivets and of Chazelet.
At the exit of the hamlet, take the path that leads to the bridge located at the start of the ski lifts. Join Le Chazelet by a wide track.
