Pic Coolidge (3775 m)

Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans
Pic Coolidge is an unmissable summit of the massif. Easy and accessible from the Vénéon or Vallouise valleys, it offers a unique view of the Barre des Écrins and the Ailefroide.
To reach the Temple-Écrins refuge, you have to go along the Vénéon, climb through the Carrelet woods and climb a few stone steps before seeing the landscape gradually open up. At the end of the path, you finally see the refuge.
On the second day, we get to the heart of the matter with the ascent of Pic Coolidge. From the refuge, we first reach the Col de la Temple-Épaule at an altitude of 3321m. We then have to climb 450m of altitude difference to reach the summit of Pic Coolidge which peaks at 3775m.
The return to La Bérarde is via the same route.
