Pic du Glacier Blanc (3527 m)
Certainly offering one of the most beautiful panoramas of the eponymous glacier, the Pic du glacier Blanc lives up to its name.
The first stage leads to the Glacier Blanc refuge from Pré de Madame Carle (possibility of continuing this first stage to the Écrins refuge and leaving the next day).
The next day, from the refuge, reach the foot of the southern ridge of the Pic du Glacier Blanc and attack its eastern slope in a slightly marked dihedral. All along the ascent to the summit, many plants can be observed. The descent is easily done by the eastern ridge. A variant exists by following the north-western ridge, allowing, with a few abseils, to reach the southern slopes overlooked by the Cordier gap.
