Plan Col depuis le Col d'Ornon
This route offers a beautiful view of the Malsanne valley. You can admire the alpine flora and the presence of marmots.
Between the Tailllefer and Armet massifs, this hike will allow you to observe the different levels of vegetation (blueberries) and fauna (deer, marmots and chamois). You will also have the opportunity to rub shoulders with the remains of the Grand Armet glacier.
Itinerary:
Since Col d’Ornon, follow the direction Plan Col passing through the entrance to the Col and Merdaret.
Gradually climb into the forest. After passing under the Cabane du Col, cross the stream by ford to begin a winding climb then a small crossing of the slope to reach Plan Col.
Warning: steep passage to access the Pass, not recommended for children or people prone to vertigo.
The connection to Moulin-Vieux in the Roizonne valley is also possible.
