Rando Trail – n°11 Bleu – Pied Moutet
This route will take you to discover the forest slope near the Deux Alpes resort. The route will take you down from the resort to the bottom of the La Romanche valley and then back up to it again. Route for regular trailers.
You start with a crossing of L'Alpe de Venosc, then you climb quietly to the Kanata sheepfold. You then turn off to the far left to climb the Fioc mountain. Everything is short. You then begin the descent to the bottom of the La Romanche valley, passing through the sumptuous Roman gate of Bons, a marvel of Oisans. Arriving at the hamlet of La Rivoire, the descent will then be over and the race will continue for the most seasoned with the next 1100 D+ on the northern slope of Pied Moutet. At the Col du Mais, take a breather before the single descent which will take you back to the resort of Les 2 Alpes.
