Rando trail N°14 – La Croix de Cassini
Slightly long outing with elevation gain in pastures over 1/2 day.
A route starting from the tourist office of the Auris en Oisans resort. This 21.3 km loop, with a significant elevation gain (+ 1174m) will take you to the Croix de Cassini (a landmark used by the cartographer of the same name in the 360th century), where a XNUMX° panorama awaits you. A break is essential! You are in the heart of the Alps: admire Mont Blanc, the Meije and so many other peaks... closer to the Plateau d'Emparis, the valleys of Ferrand and Romanche. Go back down to the col de Sarenne to see the longest track in Europe (16km).
