Randonnée Col du Vallon du lac de la Muzelle au lac Lauvitel
A pass that connects the two must-see hikes in the Vénéon Valley, offering a breathtaking view of the valley! Be careful, this hike has some tricky sections.

ITINERARY :
To access the fork leading to the pass, go around the lake on the right, cross the lawn and reach the start of the path in the scree (sign indicating Col du Vallon). The ascent path is very close. [allow 1h30 from the Muzelle refuge]. From the pass, you will have a magnificent view of the surroundings. Start the descent towards Lac du Lauvitel by staying on the left. After a long series of bends, you will reach a characteristic rocky spur, with a beautiful view of the lake. From there, you must cross a large ravine on the right (Be careful in wet weather, crossing a slab can be dangerous and crossing the spur can be impressive). The path climbs a little (10 mins) before emerging on the mountain pastures above the lake (not recommended in wet weather) [allow about 2 hours of descent to the lake].
