This wild trail crosses a little-used slope. You will discover plunging views of the Eau D'Olle valley. Beautiful forests populated with abundant wildlife enhance this hike which revisits the history of hydroelectricity.
In the past, the forests of Champ Cibou or Chibou were exploited. Beech wood, also called faillard, was cut there. This name comes from the root "fire" because faillard was a dense wood, profitable to burn.
