Gain almost 1500 m of altitude in a few minutes thanks to the cable cars and set off to discover Lac Blanc and follow the Combe Charbonnière. Pic Blanc at an altitude of 3330m above the massif and is accessible by its cable car at Station 2700.
From the Lac Blanc pass to its lake, enjoy the space on this plateau with discreet vegetation. To reach the Pic Blanc At an altitude of 3330 m, take the cable car of the same name (both up and down) on your way. Then, continue the route which descends along the Combe Charbonnière to the old Herpie mining building.

ROUTE: Departure from the cable car station of VaujanyTake the Alpette and then the Dômes des Petites Rousses ski lifts (tickets available at the ticket office on site). The marked route is visible as soon as you exit the cable car. Follow this south-facing ski slope in winter towards Gare 2700 and then along Combe Charbonnière.

TO SEE ON THE ROUTE: The old Herpie mine building, it bears witness to intense coal mining activity from the 17th century until 1951.

PLEASE NOTE: The return to Vaujany is done by cable cars. Stay alert for return times.
