Randonnée été : Plan des Cavalles par le Téléphérique
Gain almost 1500 m of altitude in a few minutes thanks to the cable cars and set off to discover the Plan des Cavales. A bare nature at the mercy of the vagaries of the weather.
This is a marked trail that is sometimes difficult to follow, as it is subject to bad weather. It runs along the Plan des Cavales, a balcony suspended at the foot of the Pic de l'Etendard. From the largest to the smallest watering hole, it is dotted with streams and lakes (the Jasse, Balme Rouse and Fare)
TO SEE ON THE ROUTE: Very beautiful view of the Belledonne, Rissiou and Cornillon massifs.
Possibility of reaching the summit of the Aiguillettes de Vaujany and descend via the Col du Sabot (recommended route, as the descent from the Col du Couard is aimed at very good walkers who are comfortable on ledges and using handrails).
