Route panoramique : la route de la Roche
Magnificent route on one of the most spectacular roads in Oisans and that's saying something! The Route de la Roche was opened in 1902 following a real technical feat.
The first road to reach Auris and its hamlets, it was synonymous with progress and openness compared to the “chimney” path, the only access before 1895, which could only be taken on foot or with a mule.
After the village of L'Armentier Le Haut, the road opens onto an immense horizon!

The road is narrow and on certain passages the crossings are difficult. Not recommended for motorhomes.
