ROUTE
From the Beyer car park, located at the exit of the village, take the track towards Bonnefin.
At the “Des Routes alt.1647m” sign, turn left onto the path, still following the direction of Bonnefin.
A large part of the difference in altitude is on this part.
Arriving at Bonnefin, the path becomes increasingly shaded.
In the hamlet of Bonnefin, you can see the chapel and the typical Bessate houses. Continue on the same path, then shortly after leaving the hamlet, take the path on your right indicating Le Sert. This one passes through the mountain pastures and is no longer wooded.
Arriving at Le Sert, start the descent towards the Gay bivouac area. Once past this, at the intersection with the road, cross the bridge and take the path along the Salse stream to return to the village. After about 1 km of walking, take the bridge on your right. The path climbs back to the village of Besse.
Once in the main street of Besse, turn right to reach the parking lot, or take the opportunity to visit the village!
