Tour des hameaux de Villar d’Arène en raquettes

This loop of approximately 11 km takes you around the hamlets of Villar d'Arène. Come and discover what these hamlets have to teach you about the local heritage as well as the ancestral traditions that have endured over the centuries. The Pays de La Meije is the kingdom of stone, here few wooden houses due to some spectacular fires over the centuries. Walking the streets of our hamlets, you will discover old bread ovens, chapels and churches. Take the time to visit them, you will not be disappointed
Several departures are possible: from the church square of Villar d'Arène, or from the edge of the D 1091 or even from Arsine (located 1 km from Villar d'Arène)

If you don't have your own equipment, you can rent it from the sports shops located in Villar d'Arène, La Grave or Le Chazelet
During the first months of winter (December and January) the route is sunny only in the morning.
