Tour du Combeynot en 4 jours
This 4-day loop takes the hiker through the high mountain valleys to meet the most beautiful peaks of the Écrins.
From the Lautaret pass, you must take the Crevasses path, passing by the magnificent belvedere of man, to climb up to the Alpe du Villar d'Arène.
From the refuge of the Alpe de Villar d'Arêne the path enters the heart of the park and gradually rises to the lakes of the glaciers of Arsine, the highest point of the loop. The scenery also gains altitude and the atmosphere is close to the high mountains. The route then switches to the valley of the Guisane by a good path to the village of Casset passing in front of the small lake of the Douche at the entrance to a larch forest.
The third stage begins at the bottom of the valley and allows you to discover the architecture of the valley's hamlets, then on the opposite slope (Cerces side) on the Chemin du Roy, to end up under the Aiguillette du Lauzet, with the possible presence of ibex, and the hamlet of Lauzet.
The last, short stage goes back up northwest to the Lautaret pass, along the Guisane torrent, rich in its hamlets and chapels typical of the high valleys.
