Tour du Signal de La Grave en 3 jours
Three days of roaming between mountain pastures, hamlets, and lakes. It constitutes the Hautes-Alpes variant of the Tour des Aiguilles d'Arves.
This itinerary begins gently with a first stage without difficulty, in the valley of La Buffe. It allows you to discover in particular the hamlet of Chazelet and its oratory which offers a breathtaking view of the Alps and the massif of Meije.
After a night at the Pic du Mas de la Grave refuge, the route continues towards the Goléon refuge. The route crosses the Martignare valley then leads to the Signal de la Grave, peaking at 2445m. The arrival at the lake and the Goléon refuge is the final reward of this long stage.
The last day begins in the mountain pastures to reach Lac du Pontet. The route then crosses the village of Villar d'Arêne and reaches the banks of the Romanche, which you will follow until La Grave, the end point of this roaming.
