Trail – La boucle de l'Aiguillon
This route will allow you to visit the Haute Romanche valley in a dreamlike landscape, facing the MeijeIt’s a lovely loop that will take you on a quick tour of the canton’s legendary sites.
A departure from the village hall of La Grave with the crossing of this authentic mountain village to then go back up to the edge of the Romanche in a larch forest where the river will refresh you before entering the village of Villar d'Arène. Then, the climb to the Lac du Pontet will allow you to gain height and enjoy looking down at the valley from above. After a short, fairly flowing crossing, you find yourself at the Col de l'Aiguillon. All that remains is to go back down to the village of Valfroide. Crossing the small hamlets of the communes, the route will then go back down to La Grave for a relatively quick end of the journey.
