Vallon des Étages A/R
Wild valley starting from the hamlet of Etages which ends in a glacial cirque in the heart of the Écrins National Park.
ITINERARY :
At the hamlet of Etages the path is on your right. Then go down into the hamlet to the bridge that crosses the Vénéon torrent at the bottom of the village. Take the path in front of you Vallon des Étages on the left bank. After a 20-minute climb, follow Vallon des Étages on the right bank. For the return stay on the right bank until Etages.

The Écrins massif is an exceptional space, open to all, whose natural, cultural and landscape heritage is rare. To protect these riches, the heart of the park is marked by flags painted blue-white-red, where regulations must be respected. – the Aiguille Dibona and the Soreiller valley

TO KNOW :
It is possible to go to the foot of the moraine to admire the cirque created by the glacier and its summit “La Pointe du Vallon des Etages”.
Some summers, a herd of donkeys is present in the Vallon.
