Via Ferrata de Pierre Ronde
Two in one! This is what the via ferrata of theAlpe d'Huez with its 2 routes: the "Discovery" and the "Sports", and all of this facing south! All on a cliff with a 200-meter drop in an accessible area.
TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS :
Duration: 3 hours, with the approach walk (discovery route: 2 hours of ascent, sports route: 2 hours)
Difficulty: PD, D+
Departure: 1600 m

The “Discovery”, or introductory course (2 hours) starts on the right and progresses along rocky ledges and ledges.
The “Sportive” (2h30 course) gets to the heart of the matter with a nice vertical wall then an aerial slab, quite long followed by a few easy jumps.
Once at the top, the parking lot is a 5-minute walk away.
Without any particular technical difficulty, the Via Ferrata nevertheless requires suitable equipment: harness, helmet, lanyards, ropes and carabiners.
Qualified instructors offer half-day outings.
