ROUTE

From Lac Bleu in the hamlet of Vert, you will continue your path towards the Pisse waterfall by the greenway. This part of the hike is classified as easy. Just after the waterfall bridge, the start of this hike will be indicated on your right in the direction of “Villard Notre Dame”.

The hike then becomes more difficult, on a steep path in the forest with a few cable passages before arriving at a rope bridge, enough to diversify your hike!

A green and mineral universe with regular viewpoints over Oisans to catch your breath!!

Little extra: the path clears to offer you a small unexpected plateau where the Pisse torrent passes, a place of tranquility before continuing the path to arrive at the “Sous le Perron” crossroads, a balcony path which links the Refuge des Sources to Villard Notre Dame.

For this route, you will therefore take a right to arrive at Villard Notre Dame. A tricky passage before arriving in the well-parked pastures for the cows. You will discover along the way the few ruins of the Hameau des Essards which for the historical part was pillaged and burned by soldiers in 1943, the occupants of this hamlet, resistance fighters warned just before had just enough time to leave before.

You will arrive on the road towards the Village and enjoy either a picnic table on the bend or the LA GARDETTE snack restaurant which will be delighted to welcome you before you leave!
