Welcome to “La Boutame”, the chalet of a family whose ancestors lived in the village almost a century ago.
La Boutame = the Mountain, in children's language.

The chalet "La Boutame" (1540 m) is located at the foot of the slopes at the top of the village of Villard-Reculas, approximately 350 meters from the ski lifts providing access to theAlpe d'Huez until Pic Blanc (3330 m). Depending on snow conditions, it is possible to get there on skis and return directly to the chalet on skis.
The access road is well cleared in all seasons, however, the possession of winter equipment (winter/4 season tires or chains/socks in the trunk) is obligatory from November 1 to March 31, according to prefectural decree.
The waste bins have selective sorting. We invite you to sort your waste to comply with municipal regulations and thus preserve our mountains.
