Le Catelan is a fabulous chalet which offers exceptional self-catering accommodation for cyclists and skiers in a beautiful setting and is ideal for large groups and families!
Le Catelan has a spacious, comfortable chalet-style interior spread over two floors and can comfortably accommodate 16 people in five beautifully decorated bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and separate WCs.
An external staircase from the grounds leads to the first floor terrace, on the left side of the terrace is the entrance to a separate rental unit and to the right is the entrance to the Catelan. You enter directly into the spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area.
The living room has a welcoming mountain style interior with a fabulous wood burning stove, TV and comfortable sofas. There are two dining tables seating 18 and a well equipped professional kitchen with high quality kitchen appliances including a large fridge freezer, gas hob, coffee machine and dishwasher, making self catering on holiday a pleasure!
The largest of the five bedrooms is on the first floor and has a double bed and a single bed with two more children's beds on the mezzanine. The bathroom has a full bath.
The remaining four bedrooms are on the ground floor accessed by an external staircase. Each room has a combination of double or single beds and adult bunk beds to cater for all types of groups. All rooms have a modern en-suite bathroom with bath or shower, WC and plenty of storage for personal belongings. The house also benefits from WiFi, laundry room with washing machine and dryer and TV.
To the side of the building on the ground floor is a large secure bike store, equipped with bike tools, wall hooks, a track pump and a stand. There are also ski lockers and space to store winter sports equipment.
The house enjoys an enviable location in pretty gardens with a wonderful outside space to relax or enjoy an evening aperitif. There are sun loungers, a table and chairs for al fresco dining.
There is a traffic-free cycle path (Voie Verte) accessible from the house. This provides a scenic route to the village centre of Bourg d'Oisans andAllemond when you walk or ride with your family.
A free shuttle bus stops 100m from the house during holiday periods leading to Allemond (Oz en Oisans ski lift) and in Bourg d'Oisans and Venosc (Les 2 Alpes ski lift)
