Les Balcons d'Auris
Isolated chalet located below the Auris ski resort, a satellite of theAlpe d'Huez, in the upper Oisans, with a splendid view of the Écrins massif and the peak of the Meije, a mecca of world mountaineering.
Very sunny, on a southern slope facing LES 2 ALPES, it offers a remarkable view of the LA MEIJE glacier and the peaks of the ECRINS NATIONAL PARK.
Its panorama also looks out towards the valley of La Romanche and the hamlets of Auris.
To the west the view offers you the larch forest of Auris and its resort.
Just 3 km from the resort, slightly set back from the hamlet of COURS, the house will offer you your own peaceful and quiet mountain corner.
Upon entering the gîte you have a large hall which, on the one hand, provides access to the corridor of the 5 bedrooms: CH 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 and 5, and on the other hand to a wide staircase giving access to the 2nd floor, to the main rooms and to the 3 other bedrooms.
This entrance has a large wardrobe and storage space for shoes as well as a bench to easily take off your shoes.
With the light oak kitchen and the dining area is equipped with all the useful comfort to facilitate your stay. We have a library for your family evenings, you will also find several board games.
On the upper level, the one with the main rooms: living room, kitchen, a large hallway leads to 3 bedrooms.
The other bedrooms are on the 1st level of the house on either side of a corridor leading to the entrance (Each bedroom has its own bathroom equipped with a sink and a shower).
In a quiet location, 400m from the village, the gîte is not too isolated: 3km away you will find the resort with its 2 mini-markets (Sherpa and 8 à Huit), its medical practice (pharmacy and radiology) and its mountain rescue centre.

Location details
Follow the signs "Les Balcons d'Auris". The crossing is narrow and winding, typical of mountain villages. The house's car park can accommodate 5 cars. In winter or in case of snow, chains are mandatory, municipal snow removal is carried out, however, you may be advised to leave a car in the car park at the entrance to the village of Cours (900 m).
