A charming home - The chalet is typically mountainous
It is accessible by car (parking space along the road right next door).
It fits perfectly into the rustic style of traditional housing in the Upper Romansh valley; masonry, stone staircase, balcony, wooden shutters.
The interior design was designed in an old style. The decoration is warm and rustic (plaster, floor, exposed wooden beams and posts)
The chalet has been furnished with traditional wooden furniture (wool spinning wheel, various accessories, beds, wardrobes, armchair, chairs).
This chalet, type T3 (surface area 55 m²) is classified as *** star comfort.
It can accommodate up to 4 people (possibility of a 5th)
The Chalet is not accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM).
Heating is electric. It is also possible to heat with wood, thanks to the fireplace (wood not included in the rental, but available).
We can also rent you all the linen that you would like not to take on your trip (sheets, towels, bath towels).
Pets are allowed, provided that all necessary precautions are taken to avoid damaging the chalet.
The Chalet is equipped with suggestions for actions to be carried out during your stay in terms of respect for the environment (living and sorting waste, saving water and electricity, etc.)
Comfort on 2 floors
On the 1st floor you will find a large main room equipped with:
– a kitchen area with an oven, “vitro ceramic” hob, dishwasher, fridge with a small freezer compartment***, microwave, soft-serve coffee maker, electric kettle and fryer, toaster, raclette and fondue machines, extractor hood, self-regulated CMV (table linen provided, tea towels, tablecloth, napkins)
– a dining area with a large table, stools, chairs, bench and wooden sideboard.
– a living room area with fireplace (insert), wooden pull-out bench convertible into 2 single beds (80 cm) or 1 double bed (160 cm), a coffee table, a wooden armchair, 80cm HD color television flat screen TNT with “DVD player”, mini CD/MP3/SD system with remote control.
– a bathroom (WC)
ADSL Wi-Fi internet access and telephone with unlimited calls to landlines in France and 90 destinations, free!! (paid calls to mobiles and special numbers)
The second floor is just as welcoming;
– a mezzanine open only to the staircase with a 1m² light well overlooking the living room, and fitted out with an old 120 cm bed, a sofa bed (BZ) into a 1 x 140 cm bed, a 200 cm convertible armchair (small low armchair) for children, a “baby kit (high chair, travel cot with real mattress, changing mat, bath, bowl, glass, plate and suitable cutlery)”, two storage cupboards, a small computer desk with stool, a “roof window” with a view of the Meije,
– a dressing room with a small “wardrobe cover”, washer-dryer and storage (vacuum cleaner, etc.).
– a separate bedroom with an antique bed 140 x 190 cm and an antique armchair
– a bathroom with a window and roller shutter, equipped with an 80×140 “Italian” shower with glass wall, a 60 cm basin on a unit, a storage column, a toilet, a hair dryer.
A cozy exterior to enjoy the fresh air and an “impregnable” panoramic view of the massif of the Meije (East-Southwest)
Outside (enclosed space), you will enjoy a 5m² covered balcony with no overlooked views or close neighbors – a 30m² terrace with flower bed,
a garden shed with wooden furniture in summer (1 table, 2 armchairs, 4 chairs, 5 deckchairs, parasol, a wooden trolley with two trays, electric plancha/grill on trolley, etc.), and in winter a storage area for skis, equipment, etc.
