In a natural setting, among chamois and marmots, on the banks of the river and close to the legendary Lautaret pass, Murielle and Laurent at the "Gîte du Pas de l'Ane" open their doors to you with their gîte and inn, authentic and friendly (half-board or à la carte).

Le Pas de L'Âne guesthouse, at the foot of legendary peaks, “the Meije ", "les Agneaux" and "le Lautaret". In the commune of Villar d'arène, a rural mountain village steeped in history and customs, on the GR 54 and at the start of many hikes, towards the sources of the Romanche, the high-altitude refuges, Alpe du Villar, Chamoissière, Adèle Planchard, le Pavé and l'Aigle.

WINTER: Nordic area of ​​the Pays de la Meije where you can go sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and Nordic walking. When conditions permit, there's a small outdoor skating rink behind the lodge, where you can rent skates. The site is ideal for families.
Nearby: the cottage is 10 minutes by car from La Grave, where the glacier cable car is located Meije. 15 minutes away is the Chazelet Village Station, facing south, facing the glaciers of the Meije.
