Refuge de la Selle
The Vallon de la Selle is dominated by this panoramic refuge, with bold architecture. It is in this warm place that mountaineers, climbers or hikers leaving as they approach the glacier will be welcomed.

Start Point: Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans (1475 m)
Elevation: 1 m
Return time: 4 hours outward, 3 hours return
Distance: 8,2 km
The refuge is located at the end of the Vallon du Diable, an absolutely magnificent mineral site. Since 1878, once you arrive up there, it's time to relax: aperitif at sunset, card games between companions for the evening and good little dishes. Ideal for preparing the next day's race in complete peace!

WINTER
Off-piste from La Grave and Les Deux Alpes
Icefalls in the valley
The old mountain hut serves as a “winter mountain hut” outside the guarding season: 12 places with wool blankets, a few dishes, no water, no gas, no heating, no electricity or toilet.
Please leave this area clean, take your waste down, and close the windows and doors securely! If there is a problem, please notify the sitter quickly on 06.03.49.39.98!
