Located in the heart of the mountain pastures, the Alpe refuge welcomes you, young and old, for a day hike, a first night in a refuge, a stopover on the GR54 or towards another refuge.

With a superb view of the summit of Agneaux, access is via a very easy family hike; despite a few steep passages, it allows you to go back to the sources of the Romanche and enjoy a very pleasant break on the edge of this pretty torrent.
"A small stream, a few boulders, grassy slopes and the whole space to run and laugh at life. Not far away, the chickens peck at grass and insects, and a few meters away, from its park, the pack donkey observes the scene with its gentle eyes, here it is a bit like Paradise", the keepers tell us.
Children can run, climb, roll around in the grass... Freedom is theirs! It is also the starting point for mountain races to different peaks (Agneaux, Neige Cordier, Chamoissière, la Pyramide, etc.)

– The sources of the Romanche (2150m – 1h)
– a small summit: the Chamoissière hill
– Stage on the Tour de l’Oisans (GR54)
Mountaineering:
– The Lambs (3646m – AD)
– Chamoissière Point (3215m)
– Peak of Snow Cordier (3613m)
Ski touring:
– Stage on the Tour de la Meije and on the Tour des Ecrins
– Roche Faurio North Corridor
– The Great Ruin
– The Chamois pass, the Fauteuil pass, the Agneaux pass / the Agneaux…

The refuge, via the Crevasses trail, is accessible by joëlette with assistance. (possibility of borrowing from the tourist office of La Grave, by reservation and against deposit: 04 76 79 90 05).
