Refuge de Temple Ecrins

Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans
– Mountain hut
At the bottom of the Vénéon valley, it offers a panorama of the Pilatte glacier and the most prestigious peaks of the Écrins.
The Temple Ecrins refuge was completely renovated in 2018. It offers 48 beds, made up of modules for 1 to 3 people and equipped with duvets. Bright and warm, the refuge is equipped with showers. A wood stove allows you to spend pleasant evenings by the fire, while enjoying the generous homemade meals offered by the warden. The large window in the dining room offers a breathtaking view of the typically alpine landscapes of Oisans.

YOU ARE HIKING IN THE HEART OF THE ÉCRINS NATIONAL PARK
The Écrins massif is an exceptional space, open to all, whose natural, cultural and
landscaped areas are rare. To protect these riches, the heart of the park is marked by blue-white-red painted flags, where regulations must be respected. Please read them when preparing your
hike in order to preserve this collective good on the website ecrins-parcnational.fr.

In summer you will come across herds in the mountain pastures, avoid them if possible
