Outdoor physical activities and discovery of the mountain environment
CLIMBING
The sessions are dedicated to discovering climbing outdoors and in a natural environment. Approved by the French Mountain and Climbing Federation, the school site Vaujany has a majority of routes classified between 3b and 5, thus offering an environment particularly suited to children. Students can apply the knowledge and skills acquired during previous sessions to progress safely as high as possible.
CANI-RANDO
During a walk, we share a great moment of complicity with the dogs. Cani-rando here consists of walking in the company of a Siberian husky, while guiding it by voice and precise gestures. Helped by the animal's traction power, we can thus cover longer distances without fatigue, while enjoying the pleasures of nature and the emotional bond that is born between the dog and the child.
MOUNTAIN BIKE INTRODUCTION
After (re)discovering the main components of a mountain bike, an instructor offers various workshops on the modules of the Collet leisure center: balance, braking, jumping, etc. Then, depending on the level of the group, a descent by trail or road is offered.
ORIENTATION ACTIVITIES
A specialist instructor offers students reflection exercises, small games and team research with the following objectives:
– Refine the identification of notable points, rely on various existing signs.
– Choose a route to reach several defined locations.
– Develop and code a course to submit to another group.
– Decode the route proposed by another group
DISCOVERY OUTING OF THE MOUNTAIN ENVIRONMENT AMONG:
– Exploring a mountain village
– Discovery of the fauna of Oisans
– Flora of the Alps
– Visit to the Grand 'Maison dam
