• FICTION
After defining a subject, students learn how to write a screenplay and its technical breakdown. This is followed by the filming stage. They then discover the equipment needed to create a film and learn the basics of directing: staging, framing, sound recording, acting, editing, etc.
• THE DOCUMENTARY
Students question and explore a subject in depth by making a short documentary film. They become aware of the different forms that the genre can take and question the image as a vector of information: the importance of the camera's point of view, of staging, of editing, etc.
• THE DOCUMENTATION
Through this form, students question the porosity of the border between documentary and fiction. Thus, it is the omnipotence of the image (as truth or demonstration of reality) that is called into question.
OTHER ACTIVITY POSSIBILITIES – MOUNTAIN OUTINGS
– Discovery of the fauna and flora of the Alps
– Adaptation of man in a mountain environment
– Water transforms landscapes
– Visit to the Grand-Maison hydroelectric dam
