Discovery trails, at your own pace, of our high valleys and accessible peaks which
will offer you a feeling of freedom, well-being, oxygenation and exceptional panoramas.
►Day 1 – Arrival:
Upon arrival at the hotel, you will take the time to settle in and get to know the team. Afterwards, an aperitif is planned in the presence of your guide, advice and friendliness will be on the program for the presentation of your stay. In the evening, you can relax and enjoy the meal served in our restaurant from 19:30 p.m.

►Day 2 – Combettes Loop 1990m:
Before setting off on your hike, our guide will provide you with the equipment: TSL-type plate snowshoes and hiking poles, as well as a DVA, a probe and a shovel. You will begin your stay with a warm-up day to discover, at your own pace, a long, wide valley facing the massif of the Meije.
Positive elevation: 350m

►Day 3 – Puy Chevalier 2050 m or Puy du Cros Mountain 2100 m:
A day of change of scenery overlooking the Ecrins. This hike, slightly off-center in the Pays de la Meije, will allow you to discover a new viewpoint. From Conchiers 1547m, our progress along the south face will undoubtedly lead us to encounter large ungulates that frequent this area. Ibex and mouflons are often present there.
Elevation gain: 550m maximum

►Day 4 – Col de la Pare 2155m – Balcon de la Meije :
The panoramic days follow one another, always with the massif of the MeijeA steady climb from the hotel will take us to this small pass between two valleys. On this route we will have the opportunity to observe wildlife: roe deer, chamois, large birds of prey, etc.
Positive elevation: 500m

►Day 5 – Bosse des Plagnes – Cote rouge through the forest 2277m – Les Clots – Ventelon: This day will take place on the sunny side facing the Meije and its glaciers with a first part of evolution in the forest. This "crossing" route will be the opportunity to have a very beautiful panorama from the north of the Ecrins massif to the Grandes Rousses massif. We will take advantage of the passage to the hamlet of Clots to develop a theme on traditional architecture in Haute Romanche.
Positive and negative elevation: 470m + / 520m –

►Day 6 – Vallon du Pic Blanc from Galibier 2470m:
This last day is intended to be panoramic and at "altitude". We will go up a small valley to emerge onto a flat area revealing a view from Monte Viso 3841m to La Meije 3983m passing through the highest point of the massif: the Barre des Ecrins 4103m.
Elevation: 520m
Actual walking time excluding breaks and picnic: 3 to 30 hours
On our return, there will be an opportunity to do a little debriefing over a drink.

►Day 7: The end of your trip
After a sporty and emotional week, it will already be time to say goodbye after breakfast. This stay is level 2 (moderate) and is designed for those looking for an active and contemplative discovery.

►In order to enjoy this stay:
Be used to mountain hiking, snowshoeing experience at this level is preferable.
Be able to progress for 3 to 30 hours of effective walking per day with a positive elevation gain of 4 to 30m.

Technical aspects: Our valley is “alpine”, being able to move on slopes that are sometimes sloping.
