With this nature-sized hiking trip, a change of scenery is guaranteed! Between the Ecrins massif and the Oisans mountains, the Haute Romanche valley is the playground of this trip. Thanks to your guide, you will discover a very alpine environment.
The Haute Romanche valley is one of those mythical places where man still confronts preserved nature on a daily basis. Sabrina and David from the Hôtel le Faranchin offer you this stay, to help you discover their beautiful region. Each day will be exceptional, due to the beauty of these landscapes and these natural riches.

A stay intended for seasoned hikers, with mountain experience. Being able to walk for 5 to 6 hours and up to 900m of positive elevation gain per day.

Day 1: Your arrival at the Hotel.
From 154:XNUMX p.m., check into your room. You will then be invited for an aperitif with all the participants and your guide, with whom you will be able to discuss your stay.

2nd day: The Laurichard pass 2654m
Departure is at Col du Lautaret This wild and mineral trail will take you to the heart of the national park. An ideal day for observing chamois.

Elevation gain: approximately 630m 4h30 of actual walking / duration of the day: 6h30

3rd day: Summit and all of the Aiguillette du Lauzet 2610m
From the Pont des Alpes car park, you will embark on a beautiful panoramic circuit, in the heart of the Cerces massif. And perhaps you will be surprised by the arrival of ibex...

Elevation gain: approximately 900m 5 hours of actual walking / duration of the day: 8 hours

4th day: Lake Goléon and the cruq des aiguilles 2707m
Departing from Valfroide, you will leave the beaten track in the mountain pastures, with a breathtaking view of the Meije and its glaciers. You will discover Lake Goléon. A trail where you can find rock crystal.

Elevation gain: approximately 850m, 5 hours of actual walking / duration of the day: 30 hours

5th day: The Emparis plateau and the Lériés and Noir lakes 2450m – Massarelle loop.
This time, it's a contemplative outing that awaits, from the hamlet of Chazelet, with the discovery of the highest plateau in the Alps, and as a bonus, a view of the glaciers of the Meije.

6th day: “Alpine” day at the foot of the glaciers – the Pacave gap 2836m
Ascent by cable car to 2400m, you will be guided through a very mineral landscape towards the Pacave gap, passing by the Puy Vachier lake at 2282m. The descent will take place along the “Vallons de la Meije”, to the intermediate cable car station at 2400m. Return by cable car to La Grave.
