Program

Try snowshoeing to gently discover our mountain landscapes and slide in the snow. Escape into the silence of a magical forest, in a dream setting in the heart of nature to follow animal tracks.
Enjoy the tranquility and magic of winter with a mountain professional, or simply spend a warm and friendly moment together.

PROCESS =

DAY 1
A gentle first day, we successively cross the plain and the forest of Villar d'Arène. We will go towards the Col de l'Aiguillon. With a bit of luck, we will be able to observe the chamois that winter there.
Ascent: 350 m

DAY 2
Today we hike on the south face above La Grave on the ridges of Côte Rouge. We will climb to the summit of Signal de La Grave (2446m) and admire the view of the Massif de La Meije and the Rousse massif. We will descend through the alpine hamlets of Clots
Ascent: 750 m cumulative

DAY 3
The last day a sporty climb to explore the splendid Plateau d'Emparis, a snowy vastness with the astonishing view of the north face of La Meije and its typically Nordic terrain.
Ascent: 650 m

Accommodation: 2 nights in a gîte, double room. (Hotel accommodation option available on request.)

This program remains indicative, we will have to adapt to the vagaries of the weather, the conditions of the mountain, the snow and the participants. In the last resort, the mountain guide remains the sole judge of the program which he can modify due to imperatives related to safety or the group.

The organization of the stay.
Supervision by a qualified Mountain Guide.
Half-board accommodation in a lodge/hotel (evening meal, breakfast and overnight stay).

The price does not include:
Round-trip transportation to the meeting place.
Additional drinks, drinks and extras taken in the accommodation.
Racing supplies.
Personal insurance and cancellation/repatriation.
Equipment rental (snowshoes, poles, safety pack).
Any ski lifts.
