Program

7 days to discover our territory facing the High Mountains!
Wild and intimate escapes punctuate this snowshoeing stay which is intended to be contemplative, fun and sporty in a unique setting, which will allow you to discover the Pays de la Meije.
This new sporting adventure is for you. Your courses will be supervised by our mountain guides from the Country. At the hotel you will be pampered and surrounded by our team around Sabrina and David.

This region of the Grand Briançonnais on the edge of the Hautes Alpes is a preserved space, dedicated to freedom in a still wild environment. We invite you to discover its natural and human riches, its larch forests, its glacial adornments, its omnipresent fauna (chamois, roe deer and ibex), its history.

►Day 1 – Welcome and installation
Upon arrival at the hotel, you will take the time to settle in and get to know the team. Afterwards, an aperitif is planned in the presence of your guide, advice and friendliness will be on the program for the presentation of your stay. In the evening, you can relax and enjoy the meal served in our restaurant from 19:30 p.m.
A briefing with your mountain guide is scheduled around 18:15 p.m.

After a short descent to the Gâ bridge at 1735 m, the first part of this beautiful outing will warm your thighs! Yes, you will have to gain altitude to first reach the Plateau. A path will follow, facing south and on a balcony facing the glaciers of the Meije for our objective. This entire sector, with the Aiguilles d'Arves, the Pic de la Buffe d'en Haut, the Aiguilles de la Saussaz and the Goléon, attracts the eye to the North while to the South we will enjoy the numerous peaks of the Ecrins and the Grandes Rousses, all dressed in white.

From then on we will move along the long ridge of Cote Rouge. The atmosphere there is exceptional with slopes on all sides. From there, the slope steepens in order to reach the Signal de La GraveThe descent will take place on the sunny side to reach the hamlets of Valfroide and Les Hières. To complete this "Crossing", we will have taken care to leave a vehicle upon arrival.
