From Les Étages, you will cross the Écrins National Park and reach prestigious peaks. This alpine loop is aimed at people with very good physical condition and experience in long walks.
D1 The Floors > Carrelet refuge
Climb to the Carrelet refuge (1 m). Rope and cramponing school on the Petit Chardon glacier (909 m), presentation of the tour. Overnight stay at the Carrelet refuge.
D2 Carrelet Refuge > Pigeonnier Refuge
Ascent of Mount Gioberney via the Says glacier and the northwest ridge. Then descent via the southern ridge to the Gioberney pass (3 m). Overnight stay at the Pigeonnier refuge.
D3 Pigeonnier Refuge > the Floors
Crossing the Rouies (3 m). Ascent to the summit of the Rouies via the eastern shoulder. Easy descent to the Bérarde via the wild Vallon du Chardon (589 m).
