The chalet "L'Ardoisière" houses 3 luxury apartments with mountain decor, quality but sober. Facing due south, the sun accompanies you all day long and brings the sublime panorama to life with its changing colors...
On the practical side, everyone will be able to find their space with its 120 m², comfortable equipment and cutting-edge services (the beds are made on your arrival!). Not forgetting the ski locker with
shoe dryer, spa and games room!
During your stay:
Cani-raquettes. Do you know the perfect motivation to get your tribe to rush to a snowshoe outing? Choose the option with a 4-legged companion! A husky dog on a harness makes walking easier and adds to the activity the magical complicity between man and animal. After an introduction to the pack, you will learn to guide the dogs by voice and precise gestures. No problem with rhythm, the dog adapts so go for it with a hat in the wind! And it won't be just the little ones who will come back with a child's smile on their lips...
A dive into the history of Villard-Reculas. Come closer, let yourself be told the story of Villard-Reculas based on the stories and anecdotes of the locals... They shared their memories with Maud, actress and storyteller, who invites you to discover the village by immersing yourself in the life of yesteryear in the mountains. Sliding is also with a sled or a buoy! How can you dispel children's prejudice: the buoy is for babies? With a snow tubing session! Alone, on a big buoy, at full speed to beat dad's record; with 2 people to do the "parents vs. children" race; or even better, the buoys attached in a caterpillar to experience the same sensations! As for the sled, it takes place on the rails of the course with jumps, flip-flaps and chicanes. The sequences are rhythmic and the sensations are crazy, all in complete safety
thanks to the rails.
La Chévre… rie, a place of mountain delicacies. The goats seen from the chalet balcony not only offer a change of scenery, they give a rich milk that Clément transforms into cheeses of character. Meet him with his herd, he will tell you about his daily life, production in the mountains with long winters, the sloping terrain, the problems of predation… But above all he will tell you about the different flavors of his cheeses according to the maturation and will transmit to you the love of his profession.
Cozy atmosphere for a night stroll. Night snowshoeing, a stroll in the light
of the moon… When the light between dog and wolf makes the landscapes almost mystical, it is time to follow Quentin into the undergrowth… Mountain huted by the trees, the darkness will be total and the headlamp essential. The play of the beam of light between the branches reveals the humidity of the evening. We see life around us: animal tracks, lights from the surrounding villages, and finally a starry sky like you will rarely see. An unreal atmosphere that will remind you for a long time…
