A unique festival in Europe

The Alpe d'Huez International Comedy Film Festival, founded in 1997, is the only European film event entirely dedicated to comedy. Indeed, it is a genre that is sometimes underestimated in major general festivals, such as Cannes or Venice. This atypical event highlights humorous films in all their forms: popular comedies, dramatic comedies, auteur comedies, etc. It explores a wide range of comic styles, from social satire to romantic comedies, burlesque or black humor. This also explains why this festival is recognized as being good-natured and warm, with accessible film professionals.
